Adrian K. Hunter, Ed.S., LPC, NCC
Adrian K. Hunter is a Clinical Therapist, National Board Certified Counselor (#90762), consultant, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC004791) in Georgia and Washington DC, and chief executive officer of Divine Intervention Counseling & Consulting Group, LLC. Ms. Hunter received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Auburn University and received her Specialist’s and Master’s degrees in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. In addition Ms. Hunter is a certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS).
Ms. Hunter has demonstrated knowledge, skill and empathy in providing individual, family, and group therapy for children and adults who have experienced relationship stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, cultural issues, PTSD, anger management/conduct issues, stress management. In addition, Ms. Hunter has provided group therapy focusing on improving self esteem, self awareness, anger management, coping skills, and social skills. She also has coaching experience involving building strong interpersonal and professional relationships.
Major areas of interest include behavioral issues in the school setting, depression, interpersonal relationship difficulties, family- related issues, parent/child conflicts, self esteem, empowerment and building healthy families.
